FAQ MIDAS🚀Pump&Dump

Indicator for finding pumps, dumps and entry points into retracement moves👇

This is a specialized indicator for traders who want to capture quick pullbacks after strong impulsive moves.

Instead of the banal “arrow appears - enter” logic, the script uses a more market-oriented approach - first it finds an abnormally strong impulse, then looks for the moment when the price begins to return, issues a signal and fully manages the trade.

Simply put, the indicator works as a bundle of 3 modules:

1

Pumps and Dumps Screener

Automatically tracks sharp price movements on the chart:

  • pumps - strong thrusts upward

  • dumps - sharp drops downward

Very flexibly configurable for any market, asset and timeframe.

2

Signal module

After an impulse is found, the indicator does not just show the fact of a pump or dump, but looks for a potential entry point into the retracement movement to capture the reverse impulse as early as possible — according to the specified logic and filters.

When the retracement is identified, the indicator gives a signal on the chart, determines the nearest targets, stop and displays a position projection with a risk-to-reward ratio, and then manages the trade, sending alerts to the TradingView app or Telegram.

3

Auto-tester

An advanced testing mode with a statistics table for found signals across the entire available chart history immediately shows the statistics of executed takes and stops. Useful for quickly selecting settings for an asset and timeframe, seeing how the logic behaves on history, and comparing different presets without manual hassle.

What's the essence of the strategy

After powerful pumps and dumps, the market very often gives a quick pullback - andthese are exactly the moves Midas🚀Pump&Dump captures:

  • after sharp impulses, the price often retraces within a few candles, not over several days, so they are practically impossible to track manually

  • such moves often provide a clean and understandable scenario: there was overheating -> profit taking began -> a retracement started

  • the strategy easily adapts to the market phase:

    • in a bull market you can look for bounces after strong drops

    • in a bear market you can trade retracements after pumps and upward runs

This is especially relevant for markets with many weak, overheated and speculative coins. The more trash impulses and chaotic runs, the more often situations occur where the price first flies too far and then returns just as quickly.

chevron-rightWHAT PUMPS AND DUMPS ARE IN SIMPLE TERMShashtag

Itis an indicator for finding and trading pullbacks after sharp pumps and dumps.

The script first works as a screener and finds strong impulsive moves, and then as a signal bot looks for an entry into the reverse move according to the chosen logic: either at the very start of the retracement or after a more precise bounce from a strong level.

The indicator is flexibly configurable for different coins and timeframes, helps to cut noise through filters, supports TradingView and Telegram alerts, and also provides tools to manage positions via SL, TP and trailing.

This is a convenient tool for those who want to systematically work with quick impulses and capture retracement moves without constant manual chart monitoring.

chevron-rightMAIN BENEFITShashtag

1. Looks for not just a move, but a clear trading situation

Many tools either look for trends or simply draw arrows by inertia. Here the logic is specific: there was a strong overheating -> we wait for a retracement -> we look for an entry.

2. Suitable for quick trades

After pumps and dumps the market often moves sharply. This provides an opportunity to capture movement faster than in classic medium-term scenarios.

3. Flexibly configurable for any coins and timeframes

You can adapt the script for:

  • aggressive scalping

  • intraday

  • speculative trading on alts

  • finding rare but strong setups

4. Helps reduce noise

Thanks to filters by:

  • impulse size

  • speed of movement

  • signal waiting time

  • retracement depth

  • candle confirmation

5. Allows you to trade with the market, not against the context

In a bullish phase you can look for favorable Buys after dumps. In a weak market you can emphasize Sells after pumps. The same tool can be flipped to suit a different cycle.

6. Provides alerts and automates monitoring

No need to manually monitor dozens of charts. The indicator finds situations itself and notifies you when they mature.

7. Suitable for testing and optimization

The autoterster mode allows you to quickly find working combinations:

  • TF

  • impulse size

  • window length

  • retracement depth

  • signal type

chevron-rightWHO IT'S SUITABLE FORhashtag

The indicator is especially useful for traders who:

  • like quick impulsive moves

  • want to capture pullbacks after overheating

  • trade volatile coins

  • do not want to manually monitor all pumps and dumps

  • are looking for a flexible tool, not a fixed “one-size-fits-all” strategy

Midas🚀Pump&Dump - is not a “money button”, not a multiplier generator and not a replacement for your brain.

It helps to:

  • find strong market anomalies

  • filter noise

  • get trading scenarios faster

  • systematize working with retracements

But if a trader:

  • does not use stops

  • overleverages risk

  • trades without a plan

  • takes every signal in a row without context

then no indicator will save them.

This tool enhances discipline and decision speed, but the result always depends on risk management, quality of setup selection and the ability to work by the system.

How the pumps and dumps screener works

The first part of the indicator tracks strong impulsive moves:

  • sharp thrusts upward

  • aggressive dumps downward

  • short overheated market sections after which a retracement often begins

You set yourself, which exact moves to consider significant:

  • whether to look for only Pumps, only Dumps or both directions

  • minimum impulse size in % (allows flexible tuning for any asset and TF)

  • over how many candles the pump must occur (to filter out weak non-retracing moves)

  • how many candles after the impulse we wait for a signal (to search only for quick retracements)

  • retracement depth filter at the moment of entry (so as not to enter too late at the end of the retracement)

This allows you not to react to any market noise, but to focus only on situations where there really was a sharp impulse.

How the signal module works

After an impulse is found, the indicator does not just mark a pump or dump on the chart, but waits for entry conditions and helps structure the position management.

First of all, you need to choose the signal receiving mode:

chevron-right1) Start of retracementhashtag

A signal appears on the very first candles when the price only starts to pull back after the impulse.

Suitable for those who want to:

  • enter as early as possible

  • receive more signals

  • trade more aggressively

Pros:

  • early entry

  • quick trades

  • more opportunities

Cons:

  • fewer confirmations

  • more sensitivity to noise

chevron-right2) Bounce from a levelhashtag

A signal appears after a reaction from a strong higher-timeframe level if the price pierces the level but cannot close beyond it with the candle body, and a rebound begins - a signal appears.

Suitable for those who want to:

  • fewer signals

  • higher accuracy

  • a more conservative style

Pros:

  • stronger noise filtration

  • higher quality entry points

  • logic closer to classic price action

Cons:

  • noticeably fewer signals

  • some moves will be missed

Next, you should set the Stop-loss - by default the stop is calculated individually for each position, taking into account current volatility and ATR to reduce risks.

You can change the Stop multiplier to suit yourself - increase or decrease it in percent relative to the initial value.

After configuration, you will see hints on the chart - where the targets, stop and risk-to-reward estimate are located.

At each configuration step check the results in the auto-tester to understand how well they fit the chosen asset and timeframe.

How alerts and Telegram signals work

In the best Midas traditions, the indicator does not force you to sit in front of the chart around the clock, and supports alerts in TradingView and sending signals to Telegram.

This allows you to:

  • track impulses across multiple coins at once

  • not miss quick retracement trades

  • use the indicator as a semi-automatic signal/trading bot

Precise tuning for any market

One of the main strengths Midas🚀Pump&Dump - is not just an alerting tool, but a logic builder for your trading style.

Trade direction

  • only Pump

  • only Dump

  • both directions

This is convenient if you want to:

  • trade only with the market

  • adapt to the phase of the cycle

  • not mix long and short scenarios in one system

Minimum impulse size

Allows you to filter out small moves and leave only truly strong pumps/dumps.

The higher the value:

  • the fewer noisy situations

  • the rarer the signals

  • the stronger the overheating should be before entry

Impulse speed

You can specify over how many candles the movement should occur.

This is important because:

  • a fast pump and a smooth rise are not the same

  • a fast dump and an ordinary correction are also not the same

The indicator is tuned specifically for sharp impulsive moves, not for any trending sections.

How many candles to wait for a signal after the impulse

If after a found pump or dump the price takes too long to provide an entry, the scenario is considered irrelevant and is reset.

This helps to:

  • avoid trading delayed signals

  • not enter old moves

  • focus only on fresh retracements

Retracement depth filter

One of the most useful filters.

If by the time of the signal the price has already retraced too much of the impulse, the entry is skipped.

Why this is needed:

  • to avoid entering an already “late” phase of the move

  • to avoid catching leftovers after most of the move has already occurred

  • to preserve a reasonable risk/potential ratio

SL multiplier

The stop is calculated automatically taking into account ATR and current volatility, and can then be increased or decreased to suit your style.

This gives flexibility:

  • for aggressive trading you can keep tight stops

  • for a more “wide” style you can increase the SL

FLEXIBLE SETTINGS WILL BE ADDED IN THE NEXT RELEASE:

Trailing stop

You can enable trailing after:

  • TP1

  • TP2

  • TP3

This is useful if you want to:

  • lock in part of the move

  • let profits run further

  • not close the trade too early manually

ATR multiplier for trailing

Allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the trailing stop:

  • smaller value = tighter trailing

  • higher value = more freedom for the price

Wait for trade to close before new signal

If the option is enabled, the indicator will not emit repeat signals while the previous trade is not completed.

The benefit is obvious:

  • fewer duplicates

  • less clutter

  • cleaner statistics and discipline

Confirmation by candle close

You can choose:

  • wait for candle close

  • or receive the signal earlier

This is especially important for different TFs:

  • on small timeframes waiting for candle close helps reduce noise

  • on large TFs early entry sometimes allows you not to give up a significant part of the move
