# FAQ 👑MIDAS Up

The upper indicator is needed to understand **the direction of the market** and to find in advance **zones of interest**, from which price may react. With it, we accurately determine the trend and the support/resistance levels from which we will make our trades.

## We identify the local and global trend

Trading corrective moves against the trend or constantly looking for a reversal is a sure path to losses! There will be many chances to open a trade in the direction of the trend, but only one reversal. **Signals work poorly against the trend -** all indicators will show noise!
