**❌The main problem with most traders is that they don't have quality signals!**

They either sit at the chart for hours, or they get too much noise and don't understand which signals are actually worth paying attention to and which ones will only multiply losses.

✅**Midas solves this problem differently!**

It helps adapt signals to your trading style, reduce unnecessary noise, and receive notifications only when there is a real reason to open the chart and make a decision.

Instead of chaotically watching dozens of assets, you get a systematic approach to trading.

## How Buy Sell signals work

Midas signals are not meant for blind entries; their main value is different:

* to show the possible start of a move in time
* to highlight the moment of a rebound from a level
* to reduce the need for constant manual monitoring
* to provide a basis for analysis according to your strategy

That is, a signal is not an order to “enter,” but rather a **trigger for your attention**. You get a notification, open the chart, look at the context, and make a decision consciously.

✅Signals with a slight delay show the beginning of a price rise or fall and will notify you at the start of each price wave!

✅The main task of a signal is not to miss when a new wave of price movement begins, so that you are notified in time.

✅The delay can be reduced to receive signals earlier, or increased to reduce the number of signals and noise.

To understand how the signals work and make sure they are not repainted, turn on the display of past signals and you will see all signals over the entire chart history👇

## Chart notation

{% tab title="Position" %}

<figure><img src="/files/f179b22c65aac03d9297a129741cf19595eb9bbe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

After a signal appears, the indicator automatically calculates the position and shows the risk-to-reward ratio based on the recommended targets and stop-loss.

Be sure to analyze the chart using the indicator to adjust the position or skip the signal if it does not match your strategy.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Buy" %}

<figure><img src="/files/141f5a025e8c82d8b11f45ca1af4f3e6c64fd6a9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Notifies you of the start of a new upward wave and a potential <mark style="color:green;">**long trade.**</mark>

But Buy by itself is not an entry!

After the alert, you need to open the chart, look at the market structure, and check the setup through your strategy.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Sell" %}

<figure><img src="/files/acec60d949b7b1587198f0a409c1e6517dcef438" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Notifies you of the start of a downward wave and a potential <mark style="color:red;">**short trade.**</mark>

The logic is the same: the signal shows the opportunity, and the decision is up to you.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="SL💀" %}

<figure><img src="/files/395ec9b5159b150cfcbf802233ad1e47880da1ba" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The stop is set with a small buffer based on current volatility to reduce the risk of the position being stopped out:

\- below the low of the current candle for <mark style="color:green;">**BUY**</mark>

\- above the high of the current candle for <mark style="color:red;">**SELL**</mark>

If necessary, you can increase or decrease the SL value in the settings👇

{% tab title="🎯Targets" %}

<figure><img src="/files/91f3bd1a9f14b81bde649f4c06464725ab5fc675" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The indicator very accurately shows the nearest liquidity clusters (purple bars on the chart)

Three such nearest clusters in the signal direction are marked as 🎯Targets

This liquidity is what will attract price, so 🎯Targets are calculated individually for each signal to match market reality, not a fixed formula.

⚠️Only if there is no liquidity on the chart are the 🎯Targets determined automatically based on risk to reward - the stop size is taken and the following is calculated from it:

🎯Target 1 - risk-to-reward 1:1

🎯Target 2 - risk-to-reward 1:2

🎯Target 3 - risk-to-reward 1:3

In any case, this is only a recommendation from the indicator; we advise adjusting the targets manually, taking into account levels and horizontal volumes, because the indicator cannot decide for you where to take profit!

Trades should be closed:

1\) based on the current situation, taking into account new circumstances that the indicator cannot predict at the time the trade is opened (news, manipulation, etc.)

2\) using your own trading strategy - scalping, intraday, swing, or investing, one take profit or several, trailing stop or order grid...
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="TP💲" %}

<figure><img src="/files/d712d63886c7286bcdef0cbbc43e8e757ae58bb5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Shows on the chart where the set take-profits were hit, and also sends notifications to the app and Telegram.
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

## How not to blow up your deposit on signals

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
️️‼️**Don't enter based on signals blindly** - these are only notifications about the start of a price move!

More than 70% of the time the market trades sideways, signals are needed so you don't sit in front of the monitor for hours, but start analyzing only at the right moment.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
‼️Open trades only after a comprehensive chart analysis!

Use your trading strategy and do not deviate from it, confirm your trades only by analyzing all factors - trend, levels, liquidity, volumes, etc.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
‼️Test your trading strategy on historical data!

Understand how the indicator works on historical data

Midas does not redraw signals after the candle closes - you can safely trust the historical data and find your own patterns to choose the best settings.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
‼️Observe risk management and use stops!

After testing your trading strategy, start trading with small amounts and обязательно use stops; this is the only way to protect your deposit!
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Setting up signals for your trading style

This is one of Midas's strongest features, because it directly addresses two pain points:&#x20;

\- either there are too many signals and you drown in them\
\- or there are too few signals and it feels like the market gives nothing

This option adjusts the frequency and speed of signal generation to your trading style, the desired asset, and timeframe - for scalping there are many signals and they appear quickly, for intraday the mode is more universal, for swing there are fewer signals and noticeably less noise, and the investment mode is designed for rare long-term signals.

You don't need to build everything from scratch; just choose one of the ready-made strategies👇

<figure><img src="/files/153dc17b23ca84d74e71f49f9f0e9141d84a2d93" alt="" width="496"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Strategy options in the settings:

1. **Scalping**⚡️⚡️- for the fastest trading, to capture absolutely every move (there are a lot of signals, they appear quickly, and there is a lot of noise) - [detailed recommendations for scalpers](/faq-en/signals-and-strategy/scalping-short-trades.md)
2. **Scalping**⚡️ - best suited for scalping (there are also a lot of signals, they appear quickly, and there is less noise) - [detailed recommendations for scalpers](/faq-en/signals-and-strategy/scalping-short-trades.md)
3. **Intraday**☀️ **(default)** - a universal strategy for active intraday trading (there are enough signals, they appear with a slight delay, and there is not so much noise) - [detailed recommendations for intraday traders](/faq-en/signals-and-strategy/intraday-within-the-day.md)
4. **Swing**📈 - for medium-term or swing trading (there are few signals, they appear slowly, and there is much less noise) - [detailed recommendations for swing traders](/faq-en/signals-and-strategy/swing-several-days.md)
5. **Investments**💼 - for investing and long-term trading (signals appear rarely, trades take a long time to play out, and there is practically no noise) - [detailed recommendations for investors](/faq-en/signals-and-strategy/investments-long-term.md)

**Midas doesn't force everyone to trade the same way!**

It lets you choose the pace and the flow of signals that really suits you. This is one of the reasons the system has high potential: the same tool can be adapted for fast trading, calm swing trading, or long-term investing.

It takes just 5 minutes to set up, and you can do your favorite things without watching the charts **24/7 -**&#x73;ignals will notify you of **a potential** emergence of a trend or a bounce from a level according to your favorite strategy - all you need to do is open the chart in time and analyze the new signal👌

{% hint style="warning" %}

1. When changing the strategy on the top indicator, don't forget to synchronize it with the bottom one
2. After setting up the strategy, we recommend setting alerts in [TradingView](/faq-en/alert-setup.md) or [Telegram](/faq-en/alert-setup/alerts-in-telegram.md)
3. If you have a paid subscription in [TradingView](https://ru.tradingview.com/pricing/?share_your_love=aleksandrov_evgen) - use the "market simulator": scroll the chart back and open virtual trades until the result of your trading strategy shows positive dynamics and a win rate above 60%.
   {% endhint %}

## Frequently asked questions and recommendations

<details>

<summary>Is a signal a ready-made trade?</summary>

Absolutely not! A signal is only a notification about the start of a price move and a reason to open the chart.

The indicator provides the most complete set of tools for further analysis and decision-making!

</details>

<details>

<summary>What should I do if there is a Buy signal on one timeframe and a Sell signal on another?</summary>

Use only signals from the lower timeframe on which you are looking for the entry point. Ignore signals from higher timeframes.

Signals will always differ across timeframes, because a signal is essentially the current wave, and different periods have different waves; this is called chart fractality.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How much will I earn - what is the annual % profit?</summary>

You can enable [auto-testing mode](/faq-en/operating-mode/auto-tester.md) and see the potential of trades and profits. Real profit depends only on you - if you do not follow risk management, you may lose your entire deposit on the very first trade.

The indicator is not a magical Holy Grail and does not make decisions for you - it only helps you analyze charts properly and receive notifications about the start of a price move.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What is the win rate of the signals?</summary>

You have access to detailed statistics on signals, taking into account losses from stop-losses and peak profits from successful trades.

The real win rate will depend only on your trading strategy and experience! On how and where you take profit, which signals you enter and which you don't!

</details>

<details>

<summary>Are signals needed for automated trading?</summary>

Only for manual trading - you receive a signal and independently decide whether to open a position, taking into account many technical analysis parameters and your own strategy!

</details>

<details>

<summary>How many signals does the indicator give?</summary>

Depending on the chosen strategy and timeframe, you can receive either 1 alert per week or hundreds per hour; it all depends on your trading strategy and settings.

</details>
